Trends in Construction 2013

Construction Dan say's YE-HAW to construction in 2013!

As many of you know the Midwest has not been hit nearly as hard in this economic down-turn. However some are even reporting some pretty surprising news in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN area. Residential Construction and new home sales are on the rise and in demand. As more and more homes are being purchased less and less homes are going on the market that in early January we are now flipping the status of our existing home sales market. Home owners should be very happy to know that we are now back to the status of a "sellers market" once again.

Residential contractors are happy as they hear the news of New Home Construction being on the rise as well. Building permits raised substantially in 2012, and are predicted to continue to increase in numbers over the course of 2013.

So with all this said, I ask contractors not to fall back into the same trend that they did in the early 2000's hiring on more workers than they can sustain year-round. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying don't hire,  however I ask that you are wise in selection of the number of full-time employees you maintain. Come to Tradesmen International to help you with your additional needs to allow for a schedule of solid work and more profits in 2013!

Together we can make it happen.
